A Dickensian Christmas with the Australian Youth Choir

The Australian Youth Choir is proud to perform in narrated concert performances of  ‘A Dickensian Christmas’, based on Charles Dickens best loved novel, ‘A Christmas Carol’.

Two exclusive concerts in Sydney and Melbourne promise to set the tone and atmosphere for our most festive and joyous time of year and provide a magical and sharing occasion for grandparents, parents and children alike.

Acclaimed actor / director, Tama Matheson will delight with his characterisations and bring to life Dickens timeless characters who have tugged at our heartstrings for centuries - Ebenezer Scrooge, Jacob Marley, Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim.

Interwoven to the narration and characterisation and enhancing the fun and storytelling will be performances of popular carols by Australia’s favourite bass-baritone, Teddy Tahu Rhodes along with the Australian Youth Choir.

Tama’s brother Tahu Matheson is music director and together with their inherent ability to relay the quintessential story, they set the scene and present for our immense entertainment,  a very special Christmas indeed.

Proudly presented by Andrew McKinnon as the finale of this 30th Anniversary celebrations as an independent producer. http://www.amckinnon.com.au
