International Concert Tours

The Australian Youth Choir and the Australian Youth Dance Theatre explore new performing territory with regular International Concert tours.
 
This year we're off to the USA!

Departing on May 22, both Choristers and Dancers are excited and thrilled to be heading to the states to see the sights, undertake specialist dance masterclaassses and perform in some amazing places. Disneyland, Los Angeles,  is on the list but not before they have visited  Boston,NewYork, Washington and Philadelphia.  It will be a great trip!
   
The Australian Youth Choir has given Recitals in the world's finest cathedrals and Concert Halls, celebrating its 30 year Anniversary in 2005 with Aled Jones and members of the Choir’s Alumni at a Gala concert at the Royal Albert Hall, London. The Australian Choir and the Australian Youth Dance Theatre have undertaken shared concert tours before and have twice performed at Carnegie Hall, New York.

More recently, the Australian Youth Dance Theatre travelled and performed in Jakarta, Indonesia (2007) and Beijing, China (2009). The Choir undertook a concert tour in 2008 that included performances in Barcelona, Madrid and Lisbon, Rome and London and in 2010, travelled and performed in  Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Ypre and London.
 
2011 marks the thirtieth International tour undertaken by our students.  Touring gives our students that opportunity to combine the thrill of performing in new settings, with different  audiences.

Touring internationally provides both Choristers and Dancers with memorable performance opportunities and magnificent sight seeing adventures.
