The Australian Youth Choir

The Australian Youth Choir has conducted 31international tours. Recitals have been given in the world's finest cathedrals and Concert Halls including:

  • Duomo Florence
  • St. Mark's Venice
  • Sacre Coeur and Notre Dame in Paris
  • St Peter's Bascillica and Domus Australia in Rome
  • Royal Albert Hall, St. Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey London
  • Carnegie Hall and St Patrick's Cathedral New York
  • Rathaus, Augarten Palace and Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna


In 1990, the choir was the first Australian children's choir to perform at the distinguished Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest.

In 2005, Aled Jones joined the Choir at Royal Albert Hall, London, in a Gala concert to celebrate our 30-year Anniversary.

In 2015, our 32nd International Concert Tour took us to the United States. Choristers performed in San Francisco, New York, Philadelphia, Washington & LA and concluded their 2.5 week adventure Performing at Disneyland!

The Australian Youth Dance Theatre

AYDT made its international debut in 1996 with a highly successful tour of the United States, returning in 1998, 1999 and 2011, with performances in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, London and Los Angeles (including Disneyland).

The 1999 tour included performances at a gala concert at Carnegie Hall, New York with renowned Australian entertainers, Lana Cantrell and Thomas Edmonds.

Special overseas workshops were held with the Alvin Ailey School of Dance in New York, the Edge in Los Angeles, and at the Laban Centre in London.

In 2007 The Dance Theatre was invited to represent Australia and compete in Jakarta at the International Dance Festival. They returned to the festival in 2009 in Beijing, where they won the award for Most Outstanding Choreography!!
