Youth Dance Theatre
"SKILLS FOR LIFE"
The Australian Youth Dance Theatre (AYDT)
is a division of the National Institute of Youth Performing Arts
- Australia (NIYPAA), governed by a Board of Directors. As a
private organisation, that does not receive financial assistance
from any government authority or corporate entity, funding is
derived from tuition fees, concert performances and merchandising.
The Dance Theatre does not undertake any fundraising activities.
Under the Dancer Theatre’s management profile and organisational
framework
a structured course of study in Jazz dance is offered.

In addition to the weekly rehearsal programme,
the Dance Theatre undertakes
two major Concerts each year:
• Autumn Concert Series (May)
• Spring Concert Series (October/November)
The
concerts are shared with the Australian Youth Choir. It is the
Dance Theatre’s policy that all
dance students involved in the programme have the opportunity
to perform at these concerts.
The Dance Theatre has established rehearsal
centres throughout metropolitan and regional areas in five
states of Australia. For further information please contact
